Update: 2009 Grammy Nominations

The fact that EMC2 got no nominations is utterly ridiculous. Mariah is typically ignored by the Grammys , so I guess this year shouldn’t be any different. I cannot believe Mariah did not even get one nomination.

I will give them credit though, at least this year I actually recognize everyone who’s nominated.

Hey Taylor Swift is a good girl and did pretty good last night. In a sea of laughable award shows, the Grammys is/are/am the Mariana Trench. BUT THEN AGAIN, the Grammys snub her EVERY YEAR. What other Grammy awards does she have?

I think for one year they should try getting normal people announcing these noms. I predict Young Jeezy will get his first Grammy, “Put On” is one of the best rap songs this year.

Robyn also got nominated for a Grammy in the same category as Cyndi Lauper and Kylie Minogue, which makes me unreasonably happy.
