At best it is bad practice, at worst some people may be sued by their franchisor base on guests reporting. Girvin and I am the owner of the Super Suppers franchise mentioned above, however these comments are not mine.

Super Suppers still enforces the “no trans fat in any entree” rule.
I sure wish I would have found these blogs and other web sites before I purchased a Super Suppers - meal assembly owner is right on, this is a full time business (not what I was sold other wise I would have bought a business that doesn’t have a low profit potential).
Only with time and feedback do you figure out what your customers need and want. Unfortunately, by the time the big fish (Dream Dinners, Super Suppers, etc) had that information, they had way too many stores to implement the various changes that they needed to stay afloat.
Is it cheaper to use Super Suppers than have a meal delivered from a restaurant? I’m not sure how many people would want to travel to Super Suppers, get all your recipe and ingredients ready, prepare and cook and pack up the meal.

Considering what has already been said about Super Suppers franchising practices, closings are inevitable. This business model is innovative and is really a new way to deliver necesary food to the public (supermarkets and restaurants being others).

Super Suppers is an entrepreneurial company -unlike DD for instance.
One bad meal and the customer often won’t come back. My son also opened a “Super Suppers” and the trainer was so bad she came in and started throwing out product that was perfectly good, costing them hundreds of dollars.
Neither in my opinion has a clear advantage other than the fact the big two franchises (Super Suppers and Dream Dinners) have had more press and national exposure.
I live in New Mexico, belong to the “Super Suppers Club” - which means you allow them to automatically bill your credit card once a month (you can cancel at any time).
