News Update: Where Can I Vote
This nonpartisan web site was created by state election officials to help eligible voters figure out how and where to go vote. This practice is often referred to as early voting or no-excuse absentee voting. If you are legally registered to vote in one of the states in the drop down menu below, click on your state’s name to get info about early voting.
We’ve been sharing stories from the Rock the Vote Road Trip; we’ve seen crowds of voters marching to the polls in Cleveland and the Beastie Boys lead get out the vote rallies in Richmond.
You will see the results only after the poll closed . There’s a protection against voting too often: you can only vote again after someone else has voted.
Im away at college now. Is it possible to vote at another polling place other than ones official polling place? And, no, you cannot vote at a different polling place because you have to sign at your normal polling place.
Remember, on election day you must vote in the precinct where you are registered.
As a registered voter, you may vote absentee or cast your ballot on Election Day at your precinct’s designated polling place.
If you do not have a fixed place of habitation, but you are a consistent or regular inhabitant of a shelter or other location to which you intend to return, you may use that shelter or other location as your residence for purposes of registering to vote.
