The Pirate Guys and associated wenches have been busy getting ready for Talk Like A Pirate Day 2008.
NOTE: The Pirate Guys are on the road on the East Coast for Talk Like A Pirate Day 2008, so their availability for live interviews and other last-minute requests is limited.
The Pirate Guys will be spending Talk Like A Pirate Day 2008 in the City of Brotherly Love as guests of The Franklin, in conjunction with the Real Pirates exhibit from National Geographic.

Salmon Arm The Salmon Arm Health Centre’s preschool speech and language program is throwing a Talk Like A Pirate Day party for children.

It’s bon voyage to the Chumbucket clan as Ol’ Chumbucket, Mad Sally and all the little Chumbuckets plus one cat and one mother-in-law hoist anchor and set sail for a move from Oregon the U.S. Virgin Islands.

While a lot of fun can be had ce;ebrating TLADP in a church setting we’re suggesting that those of a more secular bent consider celebrating Talk Like A Pirate Weekend.

The Marie Curie Cancer Care team in the UK was first out o’ the gate, urging folks to organize piratical fund-raisers to support their efforts to provide research and end-of-life care for cancer patients.

Fort Langley The BC Renaissance Festival’s Crew of the Jade Dragon is hosting a TLAP event at the Fort Winery from 5-9pm.

Operation Care Packages, the volunteer group dedicated to making sure US soldiers deployed overseas get mail from home, is encouraging schools, bars, businesses and other groups to throw Talk Like A Pirate Day parties to collect booty for overseas care packages.
