Fulfilling her promise to God, and finding purpose in her life, Holmes founded the Sadie Holmes Help Service, Inc. a center where anyone could come to receive clothing, food, furniture and other necessities.
Sadie Holmes, a single mother of five children aged nine to sixteen years, is a recovering drug addict who received an outpouring of support from her community when she began to make a new start.
Sadie Holmes thought it was a blessing when ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition built her a 7,000-square-foot home and office for her charity in 2006.
This special, pre-holiday charity event will be held Saturday, October 28th at the beautiful and newly renovated Magnolia Plantation Golf Club located in nearby Lake Mary, FL.
The court ordered mandatory drug treatment, but on completion, Holmes would relapse, and continue her cycle of addiction.

The generosity shown to Sadie and her family nearly a decade ago led her to establish the first non-profit organization in her community, Sadie Holmes Help Service, Inc. With the collective donation of others, the charity provides clothing, food, furniture and other support for people in need.
Today, Sadie Holmes Help Services, Inc. operates from a non-profit center that is above and beyond their expectations, helping Sadie’s family further their mission for helping those in need.
Despite a lack of insurance, no means to fix the house, and with rent to pay and a family to care for, Sadie has continued to run her non-profit out of the damaged house while leasing a separate apartment for her family to live in.
All participants who bring an unwrapped children’s toy will be given an extra ticket for our exciting prize raffle.
By September 2007, Seminole County Sheriff’s Office records show, a code-enforcement officer began filing violation reports against the property.

A former drug addict, Holmes had turned her life around to help others in her run-down Winwood neighborhood near Altamonte Springs.
They are seeking corporate sponsors and financial donations to keep the operation running.

Combined with the $3,000 a month she pays to rent a storage warehouse for her nonprofit Sadie Holmes Help Services, and the $6,600 a year in property taxes, Holmes said the gargantuan debt now threatens to overwhelm her.
The foundation of Sadie Holmes Help Services, Inc. is built on the collective support and kindness of others.
The seven-page file shows that as of Sept.26, Holmes has addressed her violations to the satisfaction of code-enforcement officials.

Holmes was ready to give birth again and CPS told her that if there was any trace of drugs found in her fourth child, all the children would be taken away and there would be no hope of ever getting them back.
I have a strong feeling the community will once again stand behind Sadie so she can continue her work helping the needy and helping to make our part of Seminole County what it is today.
Then she looked up and explained that “He cleansed me and I knew from that moment, my life would finally change.
Now she’s struggling to keep her nonprofit afloat, and she may end up losing the $400,000 home if she can’t pay a $29,000 county lien — placed on the property after months of code violations racked up.
Through my discussions with Holmes and public information officers from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and Seminole County Code Enforcement, it appears that both parties are willing to work together to resolve these issues.
In 2003, Sadie had to move her family from their home to a rented apartment in 2003 to make room for the overwhelming outpour of donations being given to the non-profit.
