Around 1700 volunteers helped with the search of a 100-square-mile area during the time Denison was missing, including Nevada’s First Lady Dawn Gibbons .

After Brianna’s body was discovered, the Foundation’s focus changed from search to justice.
Her body was found in near a business park in south Reno on Feb.
Reno police wouldn’t immediately disclose whether Biela’s capture was related to the Denison case, according to the station.
The black thong underwear with “Pink Panther” characters had DNA from a woman other than Denison as well as DNA of the serial rapist who kidnapped and strangled her.
On February 15, 2008, Brianna was found deceased in a vacant field on Sandhill Drive in southeast Reno, the apparent victim of strangulation.
A Celebration of Life for Brianna will be held at 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Reno/Sparks Convention Center.
