The Heavy Update for Team Fortress 2 is coming any minute now, and Valve has completed their 6-part unveiling of the Heavy Update details with a video - Meet The Sandvich. The Sandvich is the latest unlockable weapon in the ever-expanding TF2 arsenal. 1

The Sandvich is the first unlockable for the Heavy included in today’s update. Each Sandvich you eat heals you by 120 health, and your supply is unlimited. However, the Heavy will be prone to attacks during the four seconds it takes to eat a Sandvich and you cannot bring along your shotgun if you opt to pack the nutritious sack lunch. 2

The Sandvich is a great tool for a Heavy defending an area, as it gives him the ability to replenish health between enemy waves without having to abandon his post. Similarly, an offensive Heavy without a Medic can step back from the front line and grab a quick snack before resuming his rampage. 3

The Sandvich is the Heavy ?s first unlockable. It tastes as good as it looks and heals 120 health. Like in real life, the decision to eat a Sandvich must not be taken lightly. 4
