ORLANDO - Final preparations are under way before Casey Anthony’s grand jury hearing next week.

ORLANDO - Casey Anthony’s defense team and neighbors in her family’s community are outraged that the grand jury will meet, and that information on the meeting was leaked to the media.

The grand jury returns an indictment 3:51 p.m.

A grand jury has issued a sealed murder indictment in the disappearance of 3-year-old Caylee Anthony and her mother, Casey Anthon.

Florida only holds a grand jury for capital cases, any crime for which the maximum punishment is death.

Surveillance video shows Casey Anthony cashing a check, later determined as forged, on July 15, the day her 3-year-old daughter was reported missing.

He said his police dog detected the scent of human decomposition in the the trunk of a car belonging to Caylee Anthony’s mother, Casey Anthony.

Casey did not return home 4:24 p.m.

George Anthony, Casey”s father, handed out Caylee fliers in the Lee Vista neighborhood Saturday.

Judge Stan Strickland will hear the 13 total charges filed against Casey, including three counts of fraudulent use of personal identification, two counts of petit theft, two counts of grand theft, three counts of forgery of a check and three counts of uttering a forged check.

Grand jurors also will hear about evidence of chloroform discovered during the investigation.

A judge will be considering a slew of motions from her attorney, including one to allow her to visit “places of interest” in her daughter’s disappearance without the public knowing where she goes.
