Funny how the UFC broke up the Silva/Rashad match up for Chuck, instead of the Machida/Ortiz fight. Machida Since Tito, doesnt really want to fight machida anyway, then again, neither does Chuck.and what chuck wants chuck gets. Chuck will have a 2 foot reach advantage over Rashad, and he will just keep his distance and pick Ol’ “Suga” apart.
Why not do Liddell vs Machida and Evans vs Ortiz II? I think Machida is a better fighter than Rashad and would give Liddell more of a chalange.

We all knew rashad beat ortiz. Now that this fight is in order now we can see how rashad dose against a real champion and we see how chuck stands up to the new blood of the UFC. Besides watching these two go at it for 15 min could be interesting.
I’m a personal friend of Rashad’s and I’m here to tell you that Rashad has been wairing for this fight for a long time. He will take it to Chuch; see the way I see it is Rashad beat Keith and beat Chuck so to me it’s pretty much a no brainer. Anyone that thinks something different will be able to see my man in action on the 7th of June until then we will train hard and long preparing for his next event.

If Chuck fights Machida’s resume he would go on a 12 KO win streak. I think Rashad is pretty good and has a good upside, but i don’t think Chuck deserves a shot beating Rashad. A guy like Jardine should get it now if he beats Wandy because he would have beaten Forrest Chuck and Wandy.

Iceman by ko, rashad struggled to hold bisping down or deliver any significant damage and we know chucks lot better, anything can happen but I would say iceman delivers ko at ufc 85 and leaves him unconsious.

I like it - Chuck’s best fights are with guys who are primarily wrestlers . Basically it’s been too long since I’ve seen a Liddell knockout and I hope that’s the way this one goes.
Being DW’s buddy won’t help chuck here. GSP probably could have beat KOS 8/10 x by striking, but he decided to wrestle, and get the takedowns before kOS - and it worked.

Chuck knocked out Tito twice. Plus Chuck has a huge reach advantage, which played a big part in his Wanderlei fight Chucks gona win this but knockout.

Evans has the popularity and name recognition among casual fans that more than likely led to the selection.
Even with a great game plan, I don’t think Rashad will beat Chuck. Look what Chuck did to Tito and Randy, both fighters with similar styles to Rashad, at least where a fight plan with Chuck is concerned. What Chuck wants Dana will give him.

Im not counting Rashad out. He is a better athlete than Chuck in every way, and as you say he is young and in his prime whereas Chuck is not.
As far as history goes, Chuck is the better fighter. Rashad may have a chance because Chuck is older and has had a longer career taking a toll on his body.

Chuck/Rashad was a Main Card b/c Rashad was just filling in and I think that had the two originally been penciled to fight, it would have been an undercard or co-main, not a main event.

Despite being rescheduled against a new opponent, Evans was eventually pulled from the fight card following an injury to substitute James Irvin, setting up the fall bout against Liddell. Evans has a chance with the way he’s been fighting.
Chuck is my favorite figher and Im not very excited about this match up because I don’t think Evans is a top 10 LHW.

Chuck lost to Keith because Keith had a game plan that threw Chuck off bad. He dropped chuck and the ref called it.
