Boring: Plano Balloon Festival

The Plano Balloon Festival Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 agency that is dedicated to producing a family oriented, high quality event that offers other local non-profits an opportunity to assist in the operations of the Festival.

Corporate marketing sponsorships play an integral role in the development of the EDS Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival.

The weekend of September 19 – 21 should provide the perfect weather to visit the 29th annual EDS Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival.

Our objective is to offer the participating non-profit agencies an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for their programs and services…thus enhancing the quality of life for all of us.

Because of this commitment to non-profits, over 2 million dollars has circulated back into our community through the programs and services provided by participating non-profit agencies; thus enhancing the quality of life for all of us.

Spectators will have an opportunity to purchase a balloon ride during the Festival Weekend.

If a passenger wishes to fly at another time, the ticket for that flight will have to be purchased.

Exiting at George Bush / 190, Plano Parkway, Park Blvd., or Parker Rd.

If you are pregnant, recently released from the hospital, have current broken bones or casts you will not be able to qualify to purchase a ride.

The balloon glow is a MUST see!

Specific investment levels bring visibility onsite in PRIME locations, onsite signage, website hot links, an ad in the official program, VIP credentials and more.

Flights will be offered on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be flown weather permitting, and at the individual pilot’s discretion.

Demographics: The spectators that attend the EDS Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival are primarily residents of Plano and the surrounding communities.

Friday and Saturday evening as the roar of burners being ignited adds to the thrill of seeing special shapes and colorful balloons set against the back drop of the dark night sky.

Our commitment to the community is manifested in our partnerships with local area non-profits.

Dollar for dollar, The EDS Credit Union Plano Balloon Festival represents one of the most unique advertising promotional opportunities to be found anywhere.

While we welcome and sometimes solicit the donations of goods or services , our operating expenses are extensive and are defrayed by corporate contributions.
