McCain, in contrast, appears willing to tackle important aspects of his potential transition in real time. McCain’s advisors say that he doesn’t need a transition team or a foreign policy group because he already knows everything; having foreign policy advisors for McCain, they say, would be like Tiger Woods having a golf coach. McCain does not need a transition team. McCain is also working on a transition team. McCain starting a transition team is like Pauly Shore building a case for the oscars he’s going to win. McSAME doesn’t need a transition team. I mean it should be obvious to a sane person that you have to set up this transition team b/c there’s a 50/50 chance that you could be taking over the WH.
