The 2010 Mustang will sport all-new front and rear fascias, so expect new headlights, a new grille, new taillights, etc.

We’ve gotta say that as far as the interior accommodations go, the Camaro appears to still have an edge over the Mustang and Challenger in the muscle car wars.
Although the teaser shots don’t give too much away, they do give us a glimpse of what the 2010 will look like, and clearly reveal more than the new Mustang logo released a few weeks before.

Following the 2010 Ford Mustang’s semi-official debut at Kohler International Challenge vintage race at Road America in Wisconsin earlier this year, Ford released a series of five teaser shots of the new pony car, followed up by a sixth shot today.
I was hoping Ford would upgrade the quality of the Mustang’s interior with this redo, but with what we just saw with the Camaro, why bother….
We’ve seen a nearly full reveal of the new Mustang’s interior, clear spy photos of the 2010 Shelby GT500 and now this set of official teaser shots from Ford of what appears to be the 2010 Ford Mustang GT Convertible.
Probably the same engine that we unveiled to you here last November, but unlike the one Ford told us about this one is said to have somewhere between 260 to 280 horsepower.
The most recent images help tell the same story as we’ve seen up until now, with newly designed rims, some sharper lines, touched up cues, and updates to the 2010 interior.
All the better for us, however, as in addition to the Camaro testers that were just caught on camera, we also get to glimpse the new Mustang GT that will arrive a year after the new bow tie brawler.
We have a good bet that the “money shot” will be one of the last ones we’ll see before the official debut at the LA Auto Show.
According to the timer, that date is about three months away, suggesting a debut at this November’s L.A. auto show.
Estimated arrival and cost: The new Mustang is set to debut at the Los Angeles auto show this fall.
The redesigned interior seems to keep several of the current S197 Mustang’s components, but the main dash facade, center console, gauge cluster, and steering wheel have been updated to give a cleaner, more prestigious appearance to the pony car.
The Camaro is going to kill the Mustang.
“Again the silhouette will be familiar, the tradional long nose and short rear deck will convey the pony car positioning, but the sheet metal will be very angular and swoopy.
We won’t be seeing the actual Mustang formally until the end of November at the Los Angeles Auto Show, so we’ll just have to make do with the teasers as they come.
Since it’s just a teaser, you can’t really make out much except the dash and the side view of the steering wheel, but it looks like a more rounded interpretation of the outgoing model’s interior.
